For Providers

Learn More About Recovery Cafe Frogtown

From the very beginning, Recovery Cafe Frogtown has been honored to partner with a wide array of individuals and service providers to build support and access to resources for our Members.

For providers who would like to learn more about our services, the best option is to contact Sheri Cindrich for a collaboration coffee meeting at Sheri@recoverycafefrogtown.org. The coffee hour is intended for potential volunteers, donors, or partner organizations, not for potential Members.

Case Managers

For Case Managers who are seeking to enroll their customers in Membership, there are a few important things to keep in mind. A person needs to be capable of giving and receiving verbal information to qualify for Membership. If a person’s mental illness is more acute than that, Recovery Cafe Frogtown is not properly equipped to serve the person and we suggest you contact Ramsey County Mental Health Crisis Unit.

The best way to learn about Recovery Cafe Frogtown and take the first step toward Membership is to come to the Café (ideally between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM) Tuesday and Thursday or on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Case Managers and family members are welcome to accompany prospective Members.

If a person decides during their “guest” day that they would like to become a Member, they can sign up for New Member Orientation at that time. The only way a person becomes a Member is to attend a New Member Orientation. The person must sign up in person here at Recovery Cafe Frogtown. Case Managers cannot sign another up for New Member Orientation. Case Managers may accompany her/his customer to the Orientation if desired.

Recovery Cafe Frogtown’s community is enriched by the principle that everyone here wants to be here. Therefore, we ask various programs (such as Drug Court) not to mandate attendance at Recovery Cafe Frogtown. We encourage you to refer people but ask that you not make Recovery Cafe Frogtown a requirement.

Sharing What Services You Offer

We are always delighted to have one of our partners share their gifts, such as legal services, employment, and so on. We have found that a five-minute presentation to the community during lunch (at 12:45pm) is an effective way to reach our Members. If you would like to do this please contact us with your proposal.
